Unfortunately the fact is that over 95% of new online home business owners, mostly due to habit, exchange their passionate pursuit that brought about the entrepreneurial freedom into something more reflective of a corporate job which if left unchecked, is systematically followed by total burn-out and the death of that dream. Ask yourself why on the other hand, are there those that have little or no success for years yet never give up their passionate pursuit? Why when seemingly slapped in the face by life, are there people who seem totally undaunted and [...] With the economic cycle seeming more like a black hole, with its long reaching effects touching every corporate entity regardless of its business sector, it’s hard to imagine anyone being able to watch the daily news and not become despondant. For the last 2 years we’ve seen double digit unemployment, the suspicious government bailouts of the automobile, housing and financial sectors while watching the average private sector salary plummet 41% (while federal employee compensation rose 17% I might add). There’s not much of a bright spot to make one hopeful as many seek to find any security they can in their (previously thought of) stable corporate careers and retirement accounts they planned on using to provide for themselves and their loved ones. [...] Every now and then as I work with online entrepreneurs, there seems to be a trend of similar questions that are more prevalent than the weeks prior. Over the past 7-10 days I have gotten inundated with “I’ve got my blog set up but now what do I write about?” or “I want to connect better with my readers but I don’t know where to find topics to do that”. It’s a good thing in my book because it means you are all thinking about it seriously rather than cutting and pasting from 3 different blog posts and pressing “publish” (Thank God!).
