Ejecting Yourself From The Online Marketing Death Spiral That Leaves Your Home Business In Revenue Purgatory!

Practically all who are not experiencing the success you feel you deserve in your online marketing efforts are stuck because your marketing strategy has you chasing your tail.  Deep inside you know it and it sucks the passion out of you!   We’ve all been there for a period of time…Hell, I was there too!

When you’re caught this all-consuming marketing death spin, the temptation is to jump on the new hot thing, the new cutting edge marketing system or secret magic potion that works like… well, like magic and converts the masses to your marketed product, service or biz opp at a mind-blowing rate. 

You first need to understand that this “spiral of futility” happens to everyone at some point.  I’ve seen it last the first year or even longer for some after first starting their online marketing home business.  It begins innocently enough after you start your business passionately for all the right reasons and, because of a lack of results (combined with a lack of accurate training) spirals into a desperate obsession to say or do just about anything to bring about conversions.  This is then followed by a frantic jump from the next “shiny thing” whether it be a new cutting-edge marketing software, new online technology or even a percieved better opportunity to market. 

While in the midst of this cycle you don’t prioritize building strategic relationships but rather prefer to preach at your target market.  Those who are marketing business opportunities emit this annoying, overly-positive “drug-like high” as if they’re cooking up their own batch of emotional meth they want you to try.  You know who they are! They make social network contact with you only to treat you like you have a deadly disease when you don’t agree to jump on their conference call or check out their site; basically committingSelf Branding Suicide and wondering why they’re so innefective.

Let me just state right now that if you’re anywhere on that cycle of disparity then do yourself a favor and jump the hell off!! Get out and run like your hair is on fire!!

If you don’t give up and quit first, you will eventually realize after months or even years of self-torture that the keys to your success were under your nose the entire time but you couldn’t stop flailing like a drowning maniac in the shallow end of the marketing pool long enough to put your feet down, take a deep breath and notice.

My motivation here is to save you from the aforementioned “death spiral”, that leaves you in “marketing revenue purgatory” by revealing to you the keys to effective Internet marketing without enduring the awful experience.  But first let me state emphatically what the keys are not:

  • They’re not about finding “a new paradigm” shift or wave and riding it.
  • They’re not about a newly discovered strategy, software or loop hole to exploit for a limited time until caught.
  • They’re not even dependent upon creating the best written sales-offer known to man….

…The keys involve what every successful marketer you look up to, has learned to focus on.  Here it is…It’s about consciously taking a step back to prioritize learning the human impulses that are already present within your target market in order to honestly & effectively appeal to them.  Its all about purposefully dissecting the “cause & effectbuttons which are already there.

It’s simply positioning yourself (and your business) to benefit from the cause & effect response by appealing to the needs & motivating factors your target market already has.

The 4 Keys To Your Internet Marketing Effectiveness Revealed

They make so much sense that I’m not going to give them any set-up.  Just know that mastering these 4 Keys will totally rock any marketing campaign you create.

Here they are:

  1. Identify your target market in detail!
  2. Forcing yourself to see what’s important to them through their eyes (not yours)
  3. Based on that information, optimizing your site, blog and/or advertising campaign by using search keywords that directly reflect those needs
  4. Focus the marketing of your solution (product/service) in the way it would appeal to you if you had that need through the following process:
    • Reminding them of the pain – pick the scab (I know, gross but its effective imagery) and/or make them acknowledge the elephant in the room!
    • Then create the urgency by confronting them with the pain they’ve ignored, so that it’s a high priority to deal with it now.
    • Now offer to relieve the pain & solve the problem they knew they had all along but no longer can ignore.

All this information is at your finger-tips right now!  Tapping into it will enable you to eject yourself from the marketing spiral of futility and stop you from feeling like you’re drowning in the shallow end of the marketing pool creating a spectacle of yourself.

You must begin by consciously listening and connecting with those powerful impulses your market already has, and then deliberately magnifying the most influential of those motivating factors that are most compelling to your target market.

Losing sight of any part of those 4 keys will doom your effectiveness and cause your marketing to underperform. Only accurately identifying and then purposefully targeting them will bridge the gap to finally get the results, and the income you deserve for the effort your already exerting.
