I hear so many people tell me that the keys to success for Internet & affiliate marketing is totally different than those needed for network marketing and building an MLM organization.  Sorry guys but that’s just full of crap!

I have a unique perspective.  You see I successfully built 2 network marketing sales organizations before jumping into Internet & affiliate marketing several years ago to earn money online.  I train and coach both business models to be financially successful. I hear one side throwing stones at the other all the time as if affiliate marketers are the online step-children or the MLM’s are just scams.

I’m telling you, both couldn’t be more dead wrong about the other in fact, I’ll prove it to you!

What are the key areas of focus for Internet & affiliate marketers to be successful?

• Find outstanding product offering that fit with a great niche & have a great payout
• Partner with them and become an affiliate where you make a strong % for each sale
• Build branding through blogs & social media to be seen as an authority on the niche
• Create a marketing mechanism that brings a perpetual wave  of targeted traffic

And for advanced Internet & affiliate marketers?

• Create a product offering
• Use an affiliate network such as Clickbank, Commission Junction etc. to handle product sales & paying affiliates
• Build an army of affiliates to market your product offering for their gain, showing them the money they can make
• Hold webinars & phone calls where affiliates get their prospects to attend for you to sell and convert into sales for your mutual benefit.

Online network marketing combines both & follows the same process to become successful!

• Find an outstanding biz opportunity with a product offering that fits with a great niche & have a great pay-plan
• Partner with them and become an independent rep where you make a strong % for each sale
• Build branding through  blogs & social media to be seen as an authority on the niche
• Create a marketing mechanism that brings a perpetual wave  of targeted traffic
• Use the network marketing opportunity’s back office to handle product sale payments & paying your marketing organization
• Build an army of marketers to market the product offering and the business opportunity for their gain showing them the money they can make
• Hold webinars & phone calls where your marketers get their prospects on the line for you to sell and convert for them for your mutual benefit.

As you can see they actually mirror each other!

This is the main reason the “Success Steps To Building Wealth Online” was created as the first training that has everything that both online marketing business models need to be successful…. But it also solves a problem that is unique to network marketers and in my estimation, has historically been their only drawback.

You see, in both cases you need to make certain you are representing outstanding organizations with products that build (not deteriorate) your integrity and reputation.

The major difference is if an affiliate marketer has an offering that is proving to have low value or hurt their reputation then they simply replace it with another offering and continue.  If you have created the offering that you find to have deficiencies or problems then you can offer continuous updates to immediately improve the information product or software.  In both cases you have total control.

When it comes to network marketing it’s not designed to work that way.  If you find that your organization’s leadership, business practices or product line are lacking to the point that it will deteriorate your reputation if you continue, you have no choice but to start from scratch with another company and try to bring your marketing organization over with you.  Your revenue then stops cold until you’ve  rebuilt it.

This is one reason why I offer key strategies for network marketers to diversify their business setup & marketing efforts in a way that eliminates this from wiping out your revenue stream, allows you to earn more money from more sources while keeping your reputation as a leader in the organization intact.
